In what may be an unprecedented decision, Microsoft said Thursday that it plans to lower the retail prices for several flavors of Windows Vista.
For those in the U.S., Microsoft is cutting prices only on the higher-end versions of Vista, and only for the upgrade version used to move from XP or another copy of Vista. The suggested price for Vista Ultimate drops to $219 from $299, while Home Premium falls to $129, from $159.
Other developed markets will also see price cuts, while in emerging markets, Microsoft is eliminating the distinction between full and upgrade versions of Home Basic and Home Premium as it attempts to convince more users there to use genuine software.

This is a task that I’ve never been able to accomplish. I’ve recently came across this article over at LifeClever, the article is a step by step process with 10 tips to clean your desk. It was funny that I have thought of all these ideas but until now have not found one that works for me.
When I started wasting more and more time looking for lost items instead of being a brilliant creative person, I knew I had to do something. I got my desk organized, and have been miraculously keeping it clean for the past three months.

Recently while using PhotoShop CS3, I could not make any changes, the PhotoShop wouldn’t display anything but the “hand” icon. No matter what tool I selected, I would always have the hand icon and not getting the tool I wanted.
To be honest, the fix is nothing spectacular, hit the space bar and it goes away.

Movie rentals from iTunes 7.6? Awesome. That pesky 24-hour viewing window once you’ve started the film? Not so much. What if you need just a little bit more time? Or maybe a whole lot more time? We’d heard you could extend the doomsday clock by toying around with your system’s date/time. We tested it and it’s true.
